Part I

The Nation of JOG is offically announcing its retirement from the game of SWBF2.

For almost 5 and 1/2 years JOG has been a integral part of this community.

There has been nothing we haven't done in this game. We have fought for the right for assault to be a legitimate part of this game, we have fought wars, matches, disputes, civil wars, lost members, regain members, seeing hundreds of players join the clan through out the years, fought for years as a undefeated entity, forged alliances, caused wars, seen countless clans built from our own ranks to now retiring, for the second and last time from this game.

We have seen the community admire us, hate us and everything in between. We have seen just about every great player either join us, or at least give it some thought about joining us.

This clan, this community has been a soap opera, with JOG almost always in the middle of it. Drama fuels the game, and JOG has almost always been drama. And i know we have loved every second of it.

We have also seen a renaissance of this clan this year as an active entity . . . as the most dominating clan once more. We won matches, we lost matches, this site and server was almost always the center of the community and I would say everything awesome that happened this summer in jedi can honestly be traced back to this clan this year. This clan makes no apologies for that statement. We became the first clan I know of to continuously throw out its lower ranking members into matches, in an attempt to make it an entire clan project to make us great. We have had great success in doing so. We have played more matches this summer then some clans have ever. And we are proud of our accomplishments.

We have seen successes and failures. We aren't perfect and we are good with that. But neither is the community. We have enjoyed our feuds, enjoyed our ups and downs and now will enjoy our retirement. Some members will still be active on the front. However as an entity we are done. No more matches, no more feuds, no more drama for this game. The homefront is secure and we are good with that!

And with that said I can say this here and now without any hesitation nor regret, for the duration of this game, not just a set few years, but the games lifespan, for JOG's time in the game, there has been no bigger, more successful clan, then JOG! And for that I am proud to say I am a JOG member as I know everyone who still says they are JOG feels the same way!

To the swbf2 community. . . its been fun. We have enjoyed our time with you, arguing with you, beating you, losing to you and still being a top clan in the heap. We have pride in what we have accomplished and now as we conclude we are proud of who we are and what we have done.

JOG bids you the swbf2 community,  all of you, a fond. . . farewell.

Part II

In our 5 and 1/2 years we have been the most dominating clan in the game. Influential as many of you state is another good reason as to why we have been dominant.

In the golden age obviously JOG dominated, via the on the field of battle, via our servers were the top servers, our site was the most active, and we were either the most respected or most hated clan out there. Plus countless clans were spawned out of us. So there is no argument there.

From about 2008, LSJ was the biggest clan that had came out of the middle era of the game. They had some good feuds with FOG and too be honest I don't know of too many other clans that I remember at that time. I know there were a few but there weren't many.

I do remember a issue between you sin and lsj in which you came to JOG to settle. Two of the biggest entity of this time coming to JOG to negotiate the problem.  Mind you at this time we were retired from this game and mainly on codmw. We did have a small force on the game, but just to train and have fun. IT was none of the original main lineup outside of myself and Mr Barney was there as well. I would say 95% of our active lineup had moved on to next gen.

With that said, who was LSJ's main enemy at this time and into early 2009. It was JOG. Their biggest feud was with a clan that didn't play official battles any longer. They had their reason of course, but yet even in retirement we were the biggest thing on their mind.

Into 2009, JOG had split onto two sites. By this time the Abyss, its server, its community had become the main hub of the game. There were a lot of little clans, dsx comes to mind, sin, and others I believe vvv did come about somewhere in there towards the end of 2009's summer, ( correct me if I am wrong there) but it was kinda an off again on again clan because frankly there was some trouble keeping it together at that point. JOG did play some at this time however. And it won. I know dsx soon imploded after getting crushed by us. The big difference this time around was because we didn't write holonet after holonet about how good we were. And to be honest it was meant only to really allow those that had been training in 2008 and early 2009 to finally get to play matches. At this time Neji also came into this clan and helped greatly. He was an unknown quantity at that time, however that is when he and my friendship began.

Now who was the abyss's biggest enemy at this time.  Who was the clan they talked most about. What clan fueled your hate the most sinister ( who in all honesty was the best player at this time). It was JOG. Now you had your reasons for hating us at that point, that's fine I am not here to argue those points, but my point is what clan got to you the most? It wasn't lsj, it wasn't the other little clans, it was JOG.

In 2009 JOG was also able to get the community to play in a communal war against the mandalorians, which got good turn out from many clans.

What was the biggest drama of that year? When JOG for a few months did its best to boycott the abyss. At that time who did you try to influence to leave this clan. . . Neji. Who was quite possibly our biggest hitter that time. A fact that Neji has stated he was wrong into believing you. The fact was we were a threat. We push buttons without really doing a whole lot.

Now at the end of 2009 and into 2010, JOG started to work on trying to make into codmw2. We had some players still playing, but it wasn't the same. VVV at this time really started to gel and this is when fearless came into the fold to really give vvv some stability. 2010 was VVV's year of real dominance. They beat all clans they faced. There wasn't alot of clans left but there was no one more powerful than vvv. Sin's style had become the new way of playing. Which of course has its roots in superduper, and had been developing since 2008 with lsj and you and neji and others but  by 2010 you took it to a new level. Which was great for the game.

However in early of 2010, there was one thing that JOG was able to help spearhead. . . and that was a change in how the abyss operates, the main hub of the game. If you remember it was here that that conversation began. It was on the abyss site in which I know I spoke for this clan, as to ways to improve admins, rules etc. Of course sins and meph had final say, but up until this point there was some major flaws ( like most servers) with in the abyss. And from this point forward alot of the hatred towards JOG started to cease. JOG did its best to help the community.

In june of 2010, my daughter was born. And to be honest we as a clan here was starting to slow down. We had been in the game since the beginning and there was a feeling that it was time to start slowing it down. However, there was a feeling of leaving JOG at a respectable level. So following the advice of players like rabbit who had great connections to the abyss hub, we started to recruit, and to recruit well. Also I would say this. . . what was the most drama filled argument of that summer. . . it was a topic on this site. . . who was better old school or new school. That was one of the most heated debates I had ever seen. No one won it of course, but once again something we did became the big thing of that summer.

Now 2011 rolls around. I knew at this time that by April of 2011 our 5 year anniversary, I was pretty much done and knew I was going to retire. However I wanted to leave JOG with its own new council, players like Neji had returned in feb of this year as well ( who at this time finished his 2 month probation to prove loyalty). . .we also recruited a few more players and the new council decided they wanted to be the big fully active clan again. And so it was. VVV had retired by this time. Fearless had yet to join JOG. He did so at the end of may I think. Blade at this time was not the big player he is now.

JOG by far was the most active. JOG presence gave lsj real incentive to play once more( remember lak had joined jog earlier in the year because lsj wasn't around too much any longer) Mill played alot, bot as well. Then vvv return. Why did vvv return. . .simply to play JOG.

Our site was the most active, our server was full most of the time with great competition once more.

Now how many clans have been able to make that type of an impact on the game? There is a overwhelming dominance, aura about this clan that has prevailed this community since its inception. Hence why from these reasons I would say JOG was the most dominating clan during its history. Its not just one thing that makes you dominant. It is the combination of all aspects of the game.

Now to be honest I think there have been many great clans in this game. I think honestly the top 5 probably are JOG, VVV, LSJ, SOR, and SDJ. So ask yourself, who was public enemy number one to all these clans outside of JOG. . . three of them would definitely be JOG, with vvv perhaps not falling into that category. However its leader's main enemy for several years was indeed JOG. I think to be honest JOG biggest enemy of all time was sdj. Just to throw that out there.

I think that sums up my point.

Now as for these days about players wanting to join vvv from jog or vice versa, that happens all the time in clans. Not just our two clans. I can say however I know of some times when vvv directly asked our members to join their ranks. What I am getting at is stuff like that goes on in clans and has since the beginning of the game.

As for some vvv players playing for JOG during our run, yes they did. How many clans can say the same thing about former JOG members making runs for them? It happens. As for the ct thing, its just our opinion he would make the difference and yet again I will say we honor the loss as we always have. However the argument sounds like something you yourself have stated many times sinister about your time in ninja when they face JOG. Its happens, we get it.

As for calling scrims matches, we are just actually following suit of something vvv started last year. Being that it was rather difficult to get a lot of real official matches now, you guys stated when you played it was a battle. So just started calling everything in the end matches. Because they were. I would say most of the time we fought main opponents. I can also say we didn't hardly ever this past summer field our main lineup in a match. There was a few times in which we had several top players in a battle, but not what we considered our main lineup. That's not something any other clan really has ever done before. So we have more than 1 loss on our record. That's how we look at it.

Anyways, there is no way to diminish anything that anyone person has done in this game. Nor any clan. JOG wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all the other great clans. The likes of vvv, sdj, sor and lsj will be remembered as great clans for all time in this game. But there has been no clan more stable, with longevity, with its hands in the community, with people loving and hating it, through wins and losses, through influence on other clans, like JOG.

We weren't always the bests in terms of lineup mind you. But we have had many of the greats of this game in this clan mind you. And some of the games greatest lineups.

And from that we can say without hesitation, without regret, that we were the most dominant clan through out the history of this game.

We consider dominance all encompassing. In which for years somehow we did that.
