They started as standard force players who soon grew conditioned enough to usher chaos and ruin within even the most populated public servers. Poseidon claims that they became so dominant at a point that many players began unironically referring to them by royal titles such as “the kings” or “the Warlords”. Such veneration eventually got to their heads and they henceforth declared themselves as the first Warlords of SWBF2.
Poseidon further claims that their reign of terror over new players continued for some time into 2006 until the commencement of the “age of the pros”. He attributed their decline to too many pros feeding off new players until there were barely any players left to dominate. He recognized this as the fall of the SWBF2 community itself—but being ~2006, this obviously wasn’t actually the case. In reality, other players were rising to their skill level, some of whom would come to be recognized as fellow Warlords.
Poseidon oversaw the community from the shadows for many years, rarely if ever appearing in game."
